"Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work." Stephen King
You have almost made it! But first....
In your final year as part of the Middletown school district we will be engaging in a variety of texts and writing tasks that range from relevant non-fiction, to ancient and nearly forgot stories. We will be reading first hand accounts of what it is like to face death and write, research, and craft your own idealistic philosophy of life. Class discussions will play a large part in your success in the course, so be ready. You can plan on being challenged to think outside the box and push yourself as a reader and a writer. I urge you to question, create, and think critically about all that we do in the classroom for you can only appreciate once you understand.
